MANIFESTATION STATION — WINDOWS SCREENSAVER
Prototype 0.1 · 5 October 2026

A real Windows .scr screensaver. Your intentions move across a black screen
with WordArt colors and trails. Runs offline, without a browser or account.
Music and orb videos belong to the widget and are not included here.

This is a first Windows testing build, not a verified public release.
Built for Windows 11 / Windows 10 22H2, with native x64 and ARM64 versions.
No .NET or WebView installation is required.

GET STARTED
1. Extract the ZIP first.
2. Open x64 for most Intel/AMD PCs. Use ARM64 only for Windows on ARM
(such as a Snapdragon PC). Settings > System > About shows System type.
3. Right-click “Manifestation Station.scr” and choose Configure.
Windows 11 may put Configure under Show more options.
4. Click Preview sample intentions. Move the mouse or press a key to exit.
5. In the widget, open Your intentions and download the backup HTML file.
In screensaver settings, click Import intention backup and choose it.
JSON backups with the same format also work.
6. Click Preview your collection to check your own words.
7. Click Install for this Windows user. This copies the screensaver to your
local app folder and opens Windows Screen Saver Settings. Select
Manifestation Station, choose a wait time, keep your preferred sign-in
   setting, and click Apply.
8. Test an actual idle session. For a short test, set the screen saver wait
to 1 minute and ensure the display's sleep timeout is longer. Restore
   your preferred wait/display settings afterwards.

You can reopen settings from Windows Screen Saver Settings > Settings.
Double-clicking a .scr normally starts its preview instead of configuring it.

ABOUT YOUR DATA
- Importing copies a snapshot of the backup onto this PC. It does not
connect to Notion, modify the widget, or automatically sync new words.
- Import another backup whenever you want to update the screensaver.
- Preview sample intentions never replaces your collection.
- Files are stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Manifestation Station.
- The original download stays untouched. Invalid imports are rejected
before replacing saved data. HTML is read only as data, never executed.
- Imported backups may be up to 30 MB. Up to 12 intentions appear at once;
larger collections cycle through all entries in groups every 34 seconds.
Very long intentions are scaled down to fit.
- Reduced motion uses stationary words without rotating trails. Larger
collections still change groups gently so every intention can be shown.
- Multiple monitors each show the collection in their own screen area.
- Native WordArt uses Windows fonts and graphics, so its rendering can
differ slightly from the browser and Mac versions.

UNINSTALL
Choose another screen saver (or None) in Windows Screen Saver Settings.
Close any running preview. Delete Manifestation Station.scr from
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Manifestation Station. Keep intentions.json if you want to
retain the screensaver's imported data, or delete the folder to remove it.
Your widget and original backups are not affected.

TEST STATUS
The x64 and ARM64 binaries compile successfully. Backup validation and
motion tests passed on the development Mac. Windows executable headers,
resources, and system-library dependencies were inspected.
Windows UI, native rendering, actual idle launch, locking, and multi-monitor
behavior still require a real Windows test. See WINDOWS-TEST-CHECKLIST.txt.
This prototype is unsigned. Windows may warn about or block an unrecognized
program; it has not been code-signed for public distribution.
